This year's concert season runs from June 26th through August 28th, once again offering a diverse line-up of talent. Upstate New York's own Hard Soul made their debut in late 2011, showcasing their take of what songwriter-driven rock n' roll music should be all about. Channeling the guitar & lyrical stylings of Thin Lizzy, the hooks of The Beatles, and the emotion of Oasis, the band is bringing back vintage rock with a modern-flare. The mighty Hard Soul delivered their debut LP 'Heart of Plaster', featuring 10 brand-new guitar-driven tracks inspired by life on the road, heartbreak and sacrifice, and the search for a place to call home, all set to a mighty back-beat with heartfelt lyrics soaring over a classic-rock inspired soundscape.

An Evening with the Brubeck Brothers Quartet (8:00 PM)
Universal Preservation Hall
The Brubeck Brothers Quartet is an exciting jazz group featuring two members of one of America's most accomplished musical families. BBQ features four outstanding musicians: Dan Brubeck on drums, Chris Brubeck on bass & trombone, Mike DeMicco on guitar and Chuck Lamb on piano. Their collective approach to their own compositions and tunes written by the Brubeck Brothers legendary father, Dave Brubeck, have thrilled audiences all over the world. They recently toured Russia selling out the major concert halls of Moscow and St. Petersburg and were also invited to play the biggest jazz festivals in North America including the Monterey, Montreal and Playboy Jazz Festival. After their June 2014 appearance at the Rochester International Jazz Festival the City Newspaper wrote: "Regardless of origin, each piece flowed from the Quartet with impeccable ease. I have never seen an act that felt more at home on stage. Each member's instrument seemed like an extension of his body, and it all came together to create a perfect storm of quick rhythms and complicated chords." Event tickets can be purchased in advance online by going to the Universal Preservation Hall website. Proceeds from the event will go towards the ongoing restoration efforts in the space. This show is proudly sponsored by COOL INSURING AGENCY, INC. in Glens Falls, New York. Promotional support and production assistance for this series have been provided by PROCTORS and 2440 DESIGN STUDIO. More information regarding each performance group can be found at the UPH website.
